Directory information is not a guarantee

Business details, hours, ratings and descriptions can change or contain errors. A listing is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of quality, safety, availability or fitness for your dog.

Confirm urgent, medical, pricing, capacity and service information directly before relying on it. In an emergency, contact a qualified veterinarian or local emergency service.

No professional relationship

caninepages does not provide veterinary, legal, financial or insurance advice and does not create an agency relationship between users and listed businesses. Insurance content is educational publishing and not a quote, recommendation or solicitation.

Scraping, crawling and automated access

The directory is a compiled database. The selection of which businesses appear, the categories and neighbourhoods they are filed under, the review signals summarised on each page and the dated record of what remains unconfirmed are the result of our own work, and are protected as a database and as a compilation irrespective of the individual facts inside it.

You may browse, search, link to and quote the directory. You may not extract or re-use substantial parts of it, systematically or repeatedly, by any automated means.

• No crawling, scraping, harvesting, spidering or bulk downloading of listing pages, sitemaps, JSON payloads or the data files the site loads.
• No headless browsers, scripted clients or extraction services used to collect listings at scale.
• No re-publishing our compiled listings, review summaries, categorisations or counts as your own directory, dataset or app.
• No use of the directory to build or train a dataset, index or model for redistribution, without written permission.
• No circumventing robots.txt, rate limits or any technical measure that restricts automated access.

Search engines and permitted automation

Ordinary search-engine crawlers indexing pages for search results are welcome, within robots.txt. So are accessibility tools, feed readers and link checkers operating at a human scale.

Researchers and journalists who want the data are more likely to get a straight answer by asking than by scraping. Write to us and say what you need it for.

Acceptable use

• Do not overload, probe, reverse engineer or disrupt the service.
• Do not submit false, misleading, defamatory or unauthorised business information.
• Do not impersonate a business owner or use contact information for spam or marketing.
• Do not use listed phone numbers, email addresses or WhatsApp numbers to build a marketing list.

Where our own information comes from

Listing identity and contact details are retrieved from public business sources, principally Google Places, and each record carries the date it was retrieved. Welfare organisations come from the Animal Welfare Board of India's published register. Photographs, where present, come from the same public sources and are shown with the attribution those sources require.

We publish what those sources say and mark what they do not answer as unknown. If you operate a listed business and want a record corrected or removed, write to us and we will act on it. That route is open to you whether or not you can prove you are authorised, because a removal request costs nobody anything.

Enforcement

We may rate-limit, block or ban clients that ignore the automated-access rules, and we may take further action where the extraction is commercial. We would rather send an email first, so if you need data at scale, ask.

Changes and availability

We may correct, remove or change listings and site features. We may suspend access when needed for maintenance, security or legal compliance. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
